Robin McCoubrey joins Richmond Chambers

We’re delighted to announce that Robin McCoubrey has joined Richmond Chambers.

Robin brings exceptional experience as one of New Zealand’s most accomplished Crown prosecutors. Over his career, he has appeared in more than 100 jury trials and led the prosecution in many of the country’s most significant criminal cases.

Before joining MC, Robin practised as a barrister in London for seven years, handling criminal, regulatory and public law matters. Since arriving in New Zealand in 2008, he has built a formidable reputation prosecuting cases at all levels, including regular appearances in the Court of Appeal and Supreme Court.

His move to the independent bar marks an exciting new chapter, and we’re privileged to have someone of his calibre and expertise join our chambers. Robin’s experience in complex criminal litigation, proceeds of crime work, and regulatory matters will complement Chambers’ existing strengths perfectly.
